Ron Briggs has a vast education both inside and out of the classroom. He holds an AAS in Natural Resource Ecology, a BS in Wildlife Ecology, and a MS in Wildlife and Range Management. With a passion for history, he devores books, which has aided in the knowledge he’s required for his writing.
Now that Ron has retired from the USDA-NRCS, he spends his time with his family (a loving wife, two adult children, and six grandchildren), watches sports, hunts, and fishes. A consummate fly fisherman, he can often be found along the banks of the Wind River in the mountains of Wyoming. He is also an avid reader.
Ron has a great respect for culture, nature, and diversity. He writes for Dusty Saddle Productions in historical fiction, though he has titles in other genres, as well. You can find his books here:
